3 reasons why Germans should secede from Brazil:
1. Compared to other parts of Brazil, the German-majority areas have a high standard of living and a strong economy. Germans would be much better off without the rest of Brazil.
2. Historical reasons:
The Brazilian Government tried to destroy the German community via forced miscegenation.
During the 1940s, under the Getulio Vargas regime, the use of German language was repressed: teaching German in schools and publication of German newspapers were forbidden. The public use of the German language was banned under penalty of imprisonment.
The process of forced assimilation of Germans in Brazil continues to the present day.
3. The trend of non-German (mostly mixed-race) immigration from Northern parts of Brazil into German towns will turn Germans into a helpless minority in these towns (which is exactly what the Government wants).

there are quite a few million germans descedants in southern Brazil, and I am sure only a very small minority would support only these german areas to secede. As I said in another post, it is easier to get support to secede the whole southern region. Also, the map of german settled towns would be? much more fragmented than what he shows. There are plenty of italian settled, polish settled areas in the middle. And quite a few towns with more mixed (white) pop.

Germany is the ethno-national state of the German people (as Israel is the state of the Jewish people, and Poland? is the state of the Polish people).
